Sandy Springs design business gives back

Garden and interior design business, chair in the air designs, inc. celebrated its 10th anniversary in business with an unusual “open house”. Owners Tammi Kosack and Deborah Garrard, along with 35 volunteer clients, contractors and vendors, spent a recent Saturday painting, sawing, caulking and cleaning a local Habitat for Humanity house.

Additionally, the Sandy Springs company raised over $11,000 towards the Habitat house, and donations are still being received. “We planned the work day in order to give back to the community that has provided us such an abundant and diverse roster of clientele,” says Kosack. “We could not have done this without the generosity of our clients and contractors,” adds Garrard.

The house, located in southwest Atlanta, is scheduled for its final workday on Oct. 20th, at which time chair in the air designs will be back to help add finishing.
