Steak Shapiro, founder of Big League Broadcasting and on-air personality at AM sports radio station 790 The Zone will speak at the Jan. 26 “BBA BBL” (Buckhead Business Association Brown Bag Lunch) event at North Atlanta High School.
“We are thrilled that Steak Shapiro, will come to discuss how education has shaped his career,” said Jill Heineck, chair of the Education Alliance of the Buckhead Business Association.
Heineck formed the BBA Educational Alliance in 2008. The goal of the alliance is to enable both BBA members and members of the local business community at large to share their skills and talents with area students.
At North Atlanta High School, the faculty hand-selects 50-60 juniors and seniors to attend Brown Bag Lunches, where BBA members and other professionals alike are invited to share their insights and tips. During these lunches, topics of discussion will be loosely tied to topics that are being taught in the classrooms.
