Buckhead’s Souper Jenny is taking her soups and food fare of her popular West Buckhead Village restaurant, at 56 East Andrews Drive, on the road to the masses with a new kitchen truck The Incredible Flying Soup Mobile.
The kitchen truck will make appearances at schools, community and residential locations in Atlanta neighborhoods, featuring a menu of soups by the quart and entrée casseroles. It will also be available for parties and special events.
Jennifer Levison, owner of Souper Jenny, envisions growing into a “pop-up” restaurant. She said the mobile kitchen can drive up, set out a few tables and chairs and have an instant restaurant.
Maybe the concept will replace the booth Souper Jenny had last year at the Peachtree Road Farmers’ Market when the market opens for 2010 on Saturday, April 10.
