Little Bucs Shuttle Adventures, the round-trip excursion for preschoolers and their caregivers to fun and educational metro Atlanta locales, is back for the summer.

On July 22, Little Bucs Shuttle Adventures will be going to the Atlanta Zoo, according to Buckhead Area Transportation Management Association (BATMA) Executive Director Denise Starling.

The adventures will continue every Thursday through Aug. 5. The Aug. 5 trip will visit the Southeastern Railway Museum in Duluth, but the schedule has not yet been firmed up for the other weeks, Starling said.

Information will be posted on the www.bucride.com Web site.

Little Bucs Adventures are free. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations are not required but are strongly encouraged. They can be made by e-mailing rsvp@batma.org. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The shuttle will leave at 10 a.m. from Up Front Parking at the front of Lenox Square mall. Participants will receive discounted parking of $2 in this section.

Strollers are welcome. The shuttle is not outfitted with car seats, so adults will need to hold children in their laps during the ride.

The shuttle will return to Lenox Square mall by 2:30 p.m.
