Sandy Springs City Council will hold a public hearing on the millage rate on Aug. 31 at 7:30 a.m. The hearing will be held at City Hall, 7840 Roswell Road.
Council will vote to adopt the millage rate after the public hearing.
No increase to the millage rate is proposed. The rate currently is 4.731 mills.
Property taxes are figured by multiplying the assessed value of a property by the millage.
