Jim Showfety Head Coach
Jim Showfety, Head Coach

The one thing that sticks out with this group is our senior leadership.

We have a strong core group of seniors who are determined to do things the right way.

These kids came to me immediately after we finished last season, and they let it be known that they wanted to take charge of our program. From a head coach’s perspective, that goes a long way.

We have to find depth early in the season. It’s critical that we alleviate some of the pressure from having too many players going both ways. Some new kids are going to have to step up and make contributions immediately.

Our region is brutal. There are some great teams in 6-AAAA, and it seems like every year one of these teams is competing for a state championship.
