The Atlanta Girls’ School and Oglethorpe University are among three local educational institutions that received grants from the Coca-Cola Foundation, the foundation announced.

The grants are among $26 million the foundation is giving to 85 organizations around the world, the foundation said in a press release.

AGS, located in Buckhead, received $50,000 to provide financial assistance to 70 students, the foundation said.

In Brookhaven, Oglethorpe University received a $1 million grant for its Coca-Cola Oglethorpe Scholars Program. The grant is to benefit 100 students who are the first in their families to attend college, the foundation said.

Sandy Springs-based Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School received $50,000 to provide tuition aid to up to five minority students.
