The city has a new person to head up its business recruitment efforts.
The City Council on Oct. 2 approved hiring Andrea Hall as Economic Development Director. Hall previously was redevelopment coordinator with the city of Smyrna.
The city will fill the position through a task order to The Collaborative, the contractor that handles the city’s communications and permitting departments.
The task order increase is $96,000 for 37 weeks of work, which includes salary and benefits.
