The North Atlanta High School community is in the midst of a day-long media campaign against recent leadership changes at the school.
It’s a preview of tonight’s meeting with Superintendent Erroll Davis over Atlanta Public Schools’ decision to remove the school’s top administrators.
Parents and students gathered at the high school at 1:30 p.m., wearing shirts that said “APS Customer Satisfaction 0%”. The students plan an additional protest at 5 p.m., ahead of tonight’s 6 p.m. meeting. The anticipated attendance forced APS officials to move the meeting to the gymnasium.
Michele du Cille, a parent at the school, said parents want APS officials to reinstate the leadership team they removed from the school on Oct. 5. They also want an apology, she said.
