Sandy Springs Rotary Club members honored the city’s emergency responders Oct. 15 with presentations of police, firefighter and paramedic of the year awards.

Officer Shelly Weed received the Police Officer of the Year award for 2012. Capt. Craig Chandler received the police Commander of the Year honor. Beverly Moore received the Civilian Employee of the Year award.

Firefighter Stacy Ray Bailey was named fire fighter of the year for 2012. Phil Adams was named 2012 Fire Officer of the Year. Shannon Cichosz was named Paramedic of the Year for 2012.
