A mother and her 2-year-old daughter died in a three-car accident Sept. 12 on I-285 at Ga. 400, Sandy Springs police report.
At least one other person was taken to a hospital, police reported.
Police on Sept. 13 said 17-year-old Gabriella Faiz of Douglasville and her daughter were killed in the wreck. Fiaz ws driving one of the cars and her 2-year-old daughter was seated in the back seat.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
