Sunday package alcohol sales easily passed in Sandy Springs and Atlanta on Nov. 8
Sandy Springs voters weighed in overwhelmingly in favor of Sunday package sales, with 4,977 voters – 85 percent – supporting the initiative with 72 precincts reporting.
With 41 percent of precincts reporting in Atlanta, 77 percent of voters favor Sunday Package Sales.
The penny-sales tax vote to fund schools also appears to have support from the Fulton County voters. With 43 percent of precincts reporting, 63 percent report renewing the sales tax.
