The green ribbons already are going on lampposts, mailboxes and doors all over Sandy Springs, and it means local art will soon be in season.

The annual ArtSSpring event begins April 13, kicking off 30 days of festivities including: dancing, singing, food and art. The event is sponsored by Sandy Springs Hospitality and Tourism.

The opening event will be an art auction, the Bows ArtSS Bash: Party and Art Auction held at Motorcars of Georgia, 7865 Roswell Road, that will benefit ArtSS In the Open. The event begins at 7:30 p.m.
