Traffic is already gridlocked in Downtown Atlanta because of the Final Four games this weekend, but don’t let that deter you from enjoying all the events happening in the city. MARTA has extra trains running all weekend to get you to the Georgia Dome, Centennial Olympic Park and the Georgia World Congress Center. You can find out more about the MARTA schedule for the Final Work weekend at this link.

Beginning Friday, the streets around Centennial Park, Philips Arena, Congress Center and the Dome will either be closed or have restricted access. Beginning Friday night, the Big Dance Concert Series takes over Centennial Park with a stellar line-up of performers. All the shows are free. Friday night’s schedule includes My Morning Jacket and Zac Brown Band. On Saturday beginning at noon, you can hear Yacht Rock Review, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Ludacris, Flo Rida and Muse. On Sunday starting at 2 p.m., there will be concerts by Blind Pilot, Grace Potter and The Nocturnals, Sting and Dave Matthews Band.

All weekend long at the Congress Center is Bracket Town, the big Final Four fan festival event with activities, autographing sessions, youth clinics, an appearance by the Harlem Globe Trotters and much more. If you don’t have tickets to get inside the Dome to root on Michigan, Syracuse, Louisville and  Wichita State, there will be free hoop games to watch at Philips Arena, including the Reese’s College All-Star Game at 5 p.m on Friday and the men’s Division II and III championship games on Sunday. Find out more about those games at this link.

If basketball isn’t your thing, the Braves are in town all weekend at Turner Field with a three night stand against the Chicago Cubs. Games are Friday night at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 7:10 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 1:35 p.m. Find out more at this link.
