The parents group known as Dunwoody Parents Concerned About Quality Education has a new president.
Former Dunwoody City Councilman Robert Wittenstein takes over as head of the non-profit group, former president Allegra Johnson said.
Johnson said in an email that she was planning to focus her attention on a new organization, Georgians for Local Area School Systems, or GLASS.

bby the state Legislature on behalf of a bill sponsored by Rep. Tom Taylor (R-Dunwoody) that would allow creation of new school systems in cities created after 2005.
Wittenstein told members of the Dunwoody Homeowners’ Association at their Dec. 1 meeting that Dunwoody Parents Concerned would meet at 2 p.m. Dec. 15 at St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church, 1978 Mt. Vernon Road.
