Agave Restaurant in Cabbagetown is hoisting a special dine out event on MOnday, Jan. 6, 5 to 10 p.m. to help it’s neighbor, Little’s Food Store. The grocery store has been a fixture in the community since 1929 and is raising money to help repair the building.
“Although many neighbors and friends have rallied to help this neighborhood landmark, Little’s still needs help to continue serving the neighborhood while their kitchen is closed during repairs and help in assisting with general operating costs, ” said Agave founder Jack Sobel.
Agave restaurant will be donating 30 percent of the night’s total sales and accepting cash and check donations for anyone wanting to help more. Customers giving additional check donations made out to Little’s Food Store on the night of the dine out, will be rewarded with a $10 Agave gift card – available to use at a later date.
Reservations can be made at (404) 588-0006 or online at agaverestaurant.com.
