Ponce City Market continues to attract big name tenants, but the latest is quite a technology coup: Twitter.
According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the social media giant will lease about 8,000 square foot at Ponce City Market in the Old Fourth Ward. The expansion will grow Twitter’s Atlanta sales and marketing teams to about 70 people, according to the report.
The National Center for Civil and Human Rights (NCCHR) has received $600,000 from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to launch the John Lewis Fellowship. The partnership with Humanity in Action will be comprised of 30 American and European university students, as well as recent college graduates. The fellowship will offer 10 American and 10 European students a four-week program that will explore issues including diversity, human rights and social injustice in the United States.
Artisan incubator Made Again has announced it will open in the mixed-use Inman Quarter development in Inman Park. The flagship store for the online retail platform will also offer artists who work in reused and recycled materials support in marketing and branding their work.
