Trammel Crow Residential has filed plans for a project to build the Alexan Village Flats in East Atlanta Village, according to a report at Curbed Atlanta.  The almost two-acre site at 1205 Metropolitan Ave. between Moreland and Flat Shoals avenues would include 120 units: 14 studios, 71 one bedrooms and 35 two-bedroom units. A dog park, a pool, a gym and 107 off-street parking spaces are also in the plans.

The team behind the graphic novel March, Book Two, which chronicles the early life of Congressman John Lewis and his role in the civil rights movement, will sign copies of the book on Jan. 31 from 2-4 p.m. at Criminal Records in Little Five Points.

Atlanta Police have arrested two graffiti artists whose work can been seen “tagged” on buildings, bridges and other locations around the city. Brandon Carrafa, 34, was arrested on Jan. 9 for outstanding warrants related to graffiti vandalism after a traffic stop by Zone 2 officers. Carrafa is responsible for the graffiti moniker “OBVS” and its tags throughout the city. James Strawn, 30, was arrested on Jan. 18 was arrested on the same charge as Carrafa during a suspicious person call.  Strawn is responsible for the “NEATO” tag.
