The second annual Midtown Open Garden Stroll is Sunday, May 17, from 1 to 5 p.m. The free tour will showcase 36 gardens featuring fountains, pools, and hidden terraces that are open for view.
Visitors can relax and walk through the gardens and get ideas for their own greenspaces such as tree houses, play spaces, front yard vegetable gardens, underground cisterns, rain barrels and compost heaps
Maps and descriptions for the gardens on the stroll will be posted on Sunday, so be sure to check out facebook.com/MidtownGardenTour. Maps will also be available at the tour headquarters for the day at 795 Myrtle Street NE.
