Atlanta police have arrested a man suspected in a Buckhead home invasion and two burglaries in which police said he used a replica AK-47 assault rifle.
Antwain Wolfork, 21, of 1431 Blyss Ave. NW, was apprehended by the APD’s Fugitive Unit in the early morning hours of Sept. 8 and has been charged with one count of home invasion and two counts of burglary with intent to commit a felony. “It was discovered that he used a very detailed, but fake replica of an AK-47 to commit these crimes,” according to an APD press release.

Wolfork also faces charges in a violent Brookhaven home invasion on Aug. 3 in the 1700 block of Clairmont Way in which he shot the suspect in the arm.
Public Information Officer Carlos Nino said Wolfork faces charges of aggravated battery, armed robbery, burglary and possession of a weapon while committing a felony.
“The way we tied him to the Atlanta incidents was through physical evidence found in his home this morning,” Nino said. He declined to say what the evidence was.
Nino said the Brookhaven suspect matched the description of the Buckhead suspect who could be seen on surveillance cameras in Buckhead.
Wolfork is the suspect in three incidents in Buckhead — an Aug. 10 pedestrian robbery, an Aug. 19 residential burglary and an Aug. 19 home invasion. He is being held at the Fulton County jail.
