The second round of charrettes for Brookhaven’s character area study begins Sept. 14 as the city moves through the community meetings to receive resident input on how they want residential areas to be preserved.

The first round of charrettes, which began Aug. 16, wraps up Sept. 1 with the Lakes District/Blackburn Park neighborhoods at  St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 3110 Ashford Dunwoody Road,  from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This charrette had to be rescheduled from its original Aug. 18 meeting due to heavy storms and power outage.

Schedule for the second round of charrettes, all held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.:

Sept. 14 — Historic Brookhaven at Brookhaven City Hall, 4362 Peachtree Road

Sept. 15 — Lakes District, Blackburn Park at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 311o Ashford-Dunwoody Road

Sept. 19 — Brookhaven Heights-Brookhaven Fields, Briarwood Park at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church

Sept. 20 — Ashford Park-Drew Valley at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church

Sept. 22 — Lynwood Park, Osborne at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church

Sept. 26 — Roxboro, Lenox Park at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church

Sept. 28 — Buford Highway Corridor — The Latin American Association, 2750 Buford Hwy.
