Cobb County police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide of a doctor and her children. CBS 46 is reporting that Dr. Marsha Edwards, the ex-wife of Atlanta Housing Authority chairman Dr. Christopher Edwards, apparently shot and killed their two adult children before turning the gun on herself. Cobb County police discovered the bodies Edwards, 58, Erin Edwards, 20, and Charles Edwards Jr., 24, in a Vinings townhome while performing a welfare check.
A Georgia Tech student was robbed Thursday morning after two men on electric scooters made him withdraw cash from a Midtown ATM, according to a report in the AJC. The victim told police the men, who appeared to be between 15 and 20 years old, said they had a gun but never produced one.
