Atlanta is gearing up for a busy weekend of festivals, outdoor concerts, sports, and immersive art experiences taking place across the city this weekend, April 17-19. Here’s a roundup of the major events you won’t want to miss.

Historic Druid Hills Home & Garden Tour

Record Store Day
The metro’s independent record stores will celebrate all things vinyl on Saturday, April 18, as part of International Record Store Day. The annual event sees the release of limited-edition albums, singles, and re-pressings of classics for collectors. SweetWater 420 Fest
The music festival returns April 17–18 at Shirley Clarke Franklin Park, marking its 21st year with a new home in the city’s largest greenspace. The two-day music festival features headliners including Umphrey’s McGee, Thievery Corporation, and Chromeo, along with food vendors and craft beer. Atlanta Streets Alive

Atlanta United HBCU Night
The club will have a special HBCU Night on Saturday, April 18, for its match with Nashville. The evening will honor Black excellence, culture, and the legacy of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, including a halftime performance from T.I. Get tickets and details at atlutd.com/tickets.

The immersive art experience is back at historic Oakland Cemetery from April 16–19 and April 23–26, offering a nighttime art experience that blends light installations, live performances and self-guided exploration. Concert in the Park
The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will present a free “Concerts in the Park” performance on April 19 at Piedmont Park. The concert begins at 6 p.m. on Oak Hill, with pre-concert activities starting at 5 p.m. Conducted by Finan Jones, the program features works by composers including Leonard Bernstein, John Williams and Florence Price as part of a celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary.
