One person is dead and three wounded after a shooting at an Old Fourth Ward apartment complex on Friday evening.

According to preliminary information from the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded to a call of multiple people shot at the 464 Station apartments on Boulevard just before 5:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers located a 16-year-old male, a 17-year-old male, an 18-year-old male, and a 23-year-old female suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The 16-year-old, 17-year-old, and 23-year-old were transported to the hospital in stable condition. Despite life-saving efforts, the 18-year-old male was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Officers currently have individuals detained for questioning. Investigators with the Homicide Unit responded to the scene and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The investigation remains ongoing.
