Now in its fourth year, the Midtown Mutt Gala is a playful riff on the stylish Met Gala, featuring music, vendors, and costumed dogs strutting their stuff down the red carpet with Pawpurazzi.

Join in the fun and pageantry with or without a dog. Fashionable attire is encouraged but not required.

More than 800 people attended last year, and the Midtown Mutt Gala returns as a lively Peachtree Street block PAWTY! 

🟥 The block between 10th and 11th Streets will be an open street again and will be closed to vehicles, giving pups, spectators, and Pawpurazzi room to strut.

😎 The event will be emceed by diva Brigitte Bidet, with celebrity judges including Cat Catoura, Sandra Macedo & Ryder the Dalmation, and Andi Rozz from GA Followers Official. 

Heart of the Arts alumna, Jasmine Nicole Williams, aka“DJ OOOMAMI”,  the artist behind the 10th Street Dog Park Mural “On the Strip”, will bring both her artistic talent and beats to the event.

🛍️ Looking for accessories and merch for your best friend? Shop the vendor marketplace next to the red carpet along Peachtree Street. There, you’ll find a mix of both practical items for your dog and some haute couture from a range of local businesses. Shop Bee’s Bark Bar, Millie’s Treats, K and C Pet Pastries, Four Legged Foodie, and more! 

Free pet sketches provided by Jarrett Becke on a first-come, first-served basis. 

 🌮 There will also be food and drinks available for purchase from Tres Jardines, Cooks with Passion, and Tutti Gelati. 

Keep the paw-ty going after the red carpet! Wicked Wolf, located across from the event, will host the unofficial after-party with a dog-friendly patio, pup cups, and specialty mocktails. Hudson Grille Midtown will also join the fun by donating a percentage back to a pet-related charity when guests mention the Mutt Gala. Stop by before for brunch or join them afterwards!

Event sponsors Chewy Vet Care Midtown and Piedmont Bark will also be part of the fun. Chewy Vet Care Midtown will host a photo area and offer pup cups for furry attendees, while Piedmont Bark is contributing prizes for the costume contest.

Foster dogs welcome!

Midtown Alliance is encouraging attendees to bring their foster pups for a walk down the red carpet after the contest ends. The event will also include a foster dog spotlight in partnership with Lifeline Animal Project and Hero Dog Rescue, highlighting adoptable dogs.

Getting there

🚇 The venue is one block from the Midtown MARTA station. Paid parking is also available in nearby decks and surface lots.

This event is produced by Midtown Alliance, a nonprofit organization working to make Midtown Atlanta an exceptional place where people want to be.
