James R. Lientz, chief operating officer of the state of Georgia, will be the featured speaker at the Buckhead Business Association’s quarterly luncheon, July 19 at 103 West events facility at 103 West Paces Ferry Road.
Lientz oversees the leadership, management and supervision of state departments, agencies and their respective board and commissions. A Savannah native, he began his career in the financial services industry in 1968, following graduation from Georgia Tech and two years in the Army.
He served as chairman of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce in 2000 and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce in 1998.
Registration begins at 11:20 a.m. and the luncheon begins at 11:45 a.m. Individual tickets cost $50 and tables for eight cost $400.
