Jenny Levison, a.k.a. “Souper Jenny,” and Daron “Farmer D” Joffre of Farmer D Organics will host a Fall gardening event on Thursday, Sept. 17 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The event, which will take place at Levison’s home, will inform guests about organic home vegetable gardening. Farmer D will demonstrate how to prepare a Spring garden for Fall by actively making the change to Levison’s own garden. The event will cover everything from pulling up summer plants to laying new seed and seedlings.
The cost to attend the event is $25 per person and includes an organic vegetarian lunch. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (404) 237-7687 or emailing souperjenny@aol.com.
