The Clean Air Campaign, Atlanta’s nine transportation management associations and RideSmart are looking for entries for the 10th annual PACE Awards, recognizing metro Atlanta’s best workplaces for commuters. Partners in Sustainable Building, the first partnership between The Home Depot and Habitat for Humanity International on the national level, has been expanded and will feature a $30 million green building program that will provide funds and resources over a five-year period to help Habitat affiliates build 5,000 homes that meet a nationally recognized green building standard. The 120 Habitat affiliates selected to participate this year will be granted $3,000 for each home built to Energy Star standards and up to $5,000 for each home built to a higher green standard.
