FourteenthBridgeAfter two years of reconstruction work, the 14th Street Bridge in Midtown re-opens today with a dedication ceremony set for 10 a.m. The bridge will be open to traffic this afternoon, just in time for rush hour.

The southbound I-75 and I-85 entrance ramps to 14th Street and Techwood Drive also re-open today. The entire project is nearly four months ahead of schedule, according to GDOT officials.

The new wider and longer bridge features dedicated turning lanes, raised landscape medians and 15-foot wide sidewalks to create a new “gateway” in Midtown. For more information visit www.14thstreetbridge.com.
