Books & BearsThe Lovett School has been volunteering with and donating to the Sheltering Arms charity for over forty years.  Lovett plays a major role in furnishing donations for the charitable organization’s “Books and Bears” Literacy Program, which gives every participating child a new book and a stuffed animal for the holidays.

In recognition of the school’s efforts, Sheltering Arms has made Lovett the first ever recipient of its Legends Award, created to honor individuals and institutions that have “carried on the legacy of its founding members through  visionary leadership, passionate commitment, and substantive contributions to the work of Sheltering Arms.”
