Earth Day will be celebrated on the Georgia Tech campus during “Think Green Week” from April 19 to 23. There will be a green really, lectures, films, sustainable fashion show and more. See the schedule at this link.
An Earth Day Summit will be held on the campus of Agnes Scott College in Decatur on April 21 at 6:3o p.m. The theme: “Perspectives on Copenhagen: Next Steps” moderated by Felicia Davis, Director, Facilities & Infrastructure Enhancement Institute for Capacity Building, United Negro College Fund. Jack Art Gallery in Studioplex will open it’s new show, “recyling eARTh,” with an artists’ reception on April 14.

Made from simple, wholesome ingredients like fresh fruit, all-natural juice and organic milk, this year’s cool treats will be served in new biodegradable cups made from plant-based ingredients that illustrate EVOS’ philosophy of “Earth Day.
