editor@reporternewspapers.netThe Capital Grille, Coast, Seasons 52 and Joel Brasserie are among the 18 Buckhead restaurants scheduled to take part in the sixth annual A Taste of Buckhead Business EXPO on May 20.
In addition to the 18 restaurants offering samplings of their food, the annual fundraiser of the Buckhead Business Association (BBA) also will feature exhibits by 36 companies based in the Buckhead area.
“We predict that our popular ‘Taste’ event will sell out this year,” said event co-chair Brenda Horne, CEO of Community Health Charities of Georgia. She and co-chair Cindy Stewart, director of Gateway EDI, both are members of the BBA board.
“A few exhibitor tables are still available, but we are pleased to see that companies such as Georgia Power Co., Buckhead Movers, Fifth Third Bank, Foxhall Resort & Sporting Club, Georgia Eye Associates and Rooter Plus have already signed up to showcase their products and services to some 800-plus guests on May 20,” Horne added.
Last year’s event was attended by more than 700.
Regular tickets for A Taste of Buckhead Business EXPO are $10, and may be purchased at the door on the day of the event or in advance at the BBA’s website (www.buckheadbusiness.org) by clicking on “$10 General Admission.” Rates for exhibitor tables are $500 for BBA members and $800 for non-members.
The event is scheduled to be held from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. May 20 at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead hotel.
