Fabrefaction Theatre Company opens its new season with The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, the story of a group of overachieving, pubescent teenagers, who are overseen by adults who have barely escaped their own childhoods. In this Tony-Award winning musical comedy, six teenagers are pitted against each other in the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for the competition of a lifetime. In the end, the teenagers and adults alike learn that winning isn’t everything, and that losing doesn’t always make you a loser.
