NightKitePicThe Poetry Revival, a traveling troupe of renowned spoken word artists, will be coming to Eddie’s Attic in Decatur on Sunday, Oct 24.

The group features rotating fourth and fifth members, but its three core talents are Derrick Brown, opening artist for Cold War Kids, The Flaming Lips, and comedian, David Cross; Anis Mojgani, two-time Individual National Poetry Slam Champion, also featured on HBO’s Def Poetry Jam; and Buddy Wakefield, also a two-time Individual World Poetry Slam Champion.

The trio comes together each year to perform their craft at various national venues and this year’s Night Kite Revival Tour continues the tradition.  The show starts at 2 p.m. at Eddie’s Attic, and tickets can be purchased online starting at $10.  For more information about the Night Kite Revival Tour or to see videos of their past tours, visit their website at www.poetryrevival.com.
