Ridgeview band students picked as jazz all-stars

Ridgeview Charter School student Luka Marinkovic won first chair in the All-State Band for percussion and will go to Savannah in early March for the event weekend featuring the best musicians from across the state.

Marinkovic and six other Ridgeview students were selected for the Georgia State University’s Rialto Theatre All-Star Jazz Band. The Rialto Jazz for Kids is an outreach program featuring an ongoing series of comprehensive jazz education for elementary and middle-school aged students
