The Dunwoody Police Department has made several changes to its force.
At the City Council’s May 23 meeting, Chief Billy Grogan announced the promotion of three officers to the rank of sergeant. They are Curtis Clifton, Fidel Espinoza and William Furman.
Mayor Ken Wright also gave the oath of office to two new police officers, Danny Tedesco and Sean Lenahan. “These are going to make two fine additions to our department,” Grogan said.
The city also brought on two new judges this month.
Michael M. Hawkins and Kenneth E. Wickham joined the bench as part time judges for the Dunwoody’s municipal court.
Hawkins earned his law degree from Emory University School of Law and currently is the Principal of Hawkins Law Firm, PC. Wickham earned his law degree from John Marshall Law School. He now serves as the Chief Judge for City of Norcross Municipal Court and Visiting Judge for Gwinnett County Recorder’s Court.
