The city of Sandy Springs has announced it is installing 21 solar-powered radar signs in school zones and other areas.
The signs, which display a passing car’s speed, are to be put in place during August, weather permitting, the city said in a press release.
“As the school year begins, we are reminding drivers to obey all posted speed limits, especially in neighborhoods and school zones,” Mayor Eva Galambos said in a press release. “Our public safety officers will enforce the posted speed limits to ensure the safety of our children.”
