The murder trial for Hemy Neuman has been postponed until 2012.
Eric Burton, a spokesman for the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office, confirmed that the trial has been continued to February 2012. Judge Gregory Adams has not yet set an exact start date.
The trial was originally scheduled to begin Oct. 17
In late September, Neuman’s attorneys filed motions in DeKalb County Superior Court that Neuman will plead not guilty by reason of insanity.
Neuman is charged with shooting and killing Rusty Sneiderman outside of a Dunwoody preschool on Nov. 18.
