The Black History Month Parade, will be held in the historic MLK/ Sweet Auburn District tomorrow (Feb. 25) starting at 2 p.m. The even will feature marching bands, entertainers, dignitaries, civic groups, non-profits, celebrities, corporate groups, entertainment and fun for the whole family. The parade steps off from the corner of Peachtree Center Avenue and proceed down Auburn Avenue.
Participants expected to take part in the festivities are the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, Congressman John Lewis, Citizens Trust Bank, DJ Greg Street, Gordon College Know Style Dance Team David Militello (from America’s Got Talent), radio stations V-103 and Kiss 104.1, Atlanta Fire Department (Featuring Historic Fire Truck Engines & Firefighters), NASCAR driver Tia Norfleet and many more.
