A crowd of entrepreneurs, professionals and foodies swarmed the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center on Monday, April 30, in Buckhead for the annual, “A Taste of Buckhead Business” event.

The event is hosted by the Buckhead Business Association.

Dozens of local businesses, many of them restaurants, sponsored tables at the expo. People shook hands, passed out business cards, drank wine and dabbed the sweat off their foreheads with napkins.

Buckhead Business Association President Catherine Cattles said she was pleased with the turnout, and said having an additional event room across the hall improved the event’s flow. Julian Thome, a BBA member and agent with American Family Insurance, said the turnout was larger than he expected for an event held on a Monday evening.

“It’s a great turnout,” he said. “It’s a good event for BBA businesses and the community.”
