Controversial social critic Camille Paglia, best-selling author of Sexual Personae and Sex, Art & American Culture, will make a rare appearance in Atlanta on Tuesday, Oct. 30, to discuss her latest book,  Glittering Images: A Journey Through Art from Egypt to Star Wars.

From Queen Nefertari’s ancient tomb to George Lucas’s Revenge of the Sith, Paglia examines more than two dozen paintings, sculptures, architectural styles, performance pieces, and digital art work that have influenced what and how we see.
