The Atlanta Community ToolBank is moving to a new warehouse at 410 Englewood Ave., less than two miles from their current location. The Tool Bank, which loans tools to nonprofits and organizations for projects and builds, will double its space, have ample, easy to navigate loading docks and a parking lot.
Volunteers are needed to help prepare for the move on weekdays and weekends. Volunteers must be at least 18, able to lift 20 pounds and wear close-toed shoes. On actual move day, July 20, individuals and groups are needed to load trucks and unload inventory into the new warehouse. Volunteers report to 55 Ormond at 6:45 am. A fun cookout and gifts will follow at 1 p.m.
