Dunwoody Police Chief Billy Grogan has been sworn in the new Fourth Vice President of the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police.
Grogan took the post July 23. The GACP represents chiefs of police across the state and provides training and professional development for the state’s chiefs.
“I look forward to serving on the board of the GACP as well as being an advocate for the needs of police chiefs throughout the state,” Grogan said in a press release issued by the Dunwoody Police Department.
“As law enforcement leaders, it is imperative that we all work together to combat crime and disorder in our communities. I appreciate the opportunity to serve the members of this association.”
