Atlanta Police have arrested a man in connection with a spree of silver thefts, the New York Times reports.

Police arrested Blane Nordahl early Monday in Hilliard, Fla., the Times reported. He is suspected of committing crimes throughout the South, including Buckhead. He’s known for his penchant for silver connected to the Old South, the Times article says.

According to the Times article, Nordahl is famous for his silver pilfering skills.

Atlanta Police have announced a press conference for this afternoon at 3 p.m. to provide an update in the case. Earlier this month, police announced the arrest of a woman accused of storing some of the stolen loot.
