October 2013The October edition of Atlanta INtown is packed with news and features you won’t want to miss. This month, our cover feature is on the extraordinary Cultural Experience Project, which gives students in all grade levels from Atlanta Public Schools a chance to visit one of the city’s cultural institutions for free.

You’ll also find news stories about the efforts to create new cities near Atlanta, including the Briarcliff and Lakeside initiatives, and how communities have banded together to fight against big-box retailers. October also means the return of Taste of Atlanta, the Downtown Atlanta public art celebration called Elevate and plenty of Halloween and fall festivals to enjoy. Another feature not to miss is on the apartment building boom happening Intown. We’ve got renderings of all the big projects under construction right now.
