The Decatur City Commission will consider approving a registry that will allow same-sex couples to have their relationship recognized by the city, according to a report from Decaturish.

Commissioners will have an opportunity to vote on the registry at their Dec. 16 meeting. A registered couple would receive a certificate from the city that acknowledges their partnership.
