A nationwide manhunt for a man who tried to rob banks in Atlanta and Tupelo, Mississippi is over after the suspect  was shot and killed by police during a third bank robbery in Phoenix, Arizona, according to a report from CNN. The identity of the man has not been released.

The latest heist took place Saturday morning in Phoenix. After leaving the bank with a bag and gun, the suspect shot at two officers before one of the officers fatally shot him, Phoenix police said. Neither of the officers was injured.

 

On Dec. 23., the man who tried to rob a Bank of America in the 2600 block of Piedmont Road and later fatally shot one police officer and critically wounded a second  in Tupelo.
