Architect Henri Jova, 94, died on Jan. 13 in West Palm Beach, Fla. after a short illness, according to his partner of 42 years, David Rinehart, according to a report in the Atlanta Business Chronicle.  A celebration of his life is planned at the Atlanta Botanical Garden on April 3.
Among Jova’s most notable building are the Colony Square complex in Midtown, The Carter Center, Atlanta City Hall Complex, North Avenue MARTA station and the futuristic shape of the Trust Company Bank building on Monroe Drive, which later became Pie Bar and will soon re-open as Cirque.
