The Tabernacle in Downtown Atlanta remains closed after floor joists cracked during Friday night’s Panic! At The Disco concerts, according to a report from our affiliate CBS Atlanta. An Atlanta fire marshal noticed a stage light moving and he discovered the floor supports had cracked. “This was going to be a story either way – an evacuation or a collapse,” said fire marshal Lt. Ulysses Gladden.

Decatur Police are investigating a burglary that occurred Saturday between 2 and 4:45 p.m. in the 600 block of Second Avenue. It appeared the suspects used a vehicle to force a locked rear gate open and the rear door to the residence was then forced open. Numerous items were stolen throughout the house. A neighbor reported seeing a beige SUV, believed to be a Ford Explorer, occupied by two black males leaving the alley behind the victim’s residence at approximately 2:30 pm. The driver of the beige SUV was described as having a light complexion and wearing a red baseball cap. There were additional incidents reported nearby in Atlanta that may be related. Atlanta Police Department officers in Zone 6 responded to a burglary on Tupelo Street that occurred between 1 and 2:30 p.m. Based on the size of a television stolen, it is likely a SUV or truck was used. APD then responded to a suspicious vehicle backed into a driveway in the 100 block of Second Avenue shortly after 3 p.m. The vehicle was described as a white SUV, possibly a Suburban or Tahoe, occupied by 3-4 black males.
