The Atlanta Police received complaints of several hundred people on ATV’s and dirt bikes driving recklessly throughout Atlanta on Sunday. According to a report from our media affiliate CBS46, the activity began around noon with dozens of calls to 911 about the off-road vehicles blocking traffic. There were reports of 150 ATV and dirt bike riders at Pittman Park in southwest Atlanta and at Coan Park in the Kirkwood neighborhood. There were also reports of the vehicles running red lights, driving on the wrong side of the street, forcing bicyclists from the road and pedestrians off sidewalks.
The Atlanta Police have released surveillance video of the armed robbery of the Benihana restaurant on Peachtree Road on Aug. 10. If you have information on the two males shown in the video, call Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS (8477).
